Yes — for those who cannot afford support, sessions are sponsored by generous donors. Your first conversation is always free. Ongoing support is available through donor-funded sessions.
Our Allies are trained, compassionate individuals who complete a comprehensive training program in active listening, emotional support techniques, and maintaining healthy boundaries. All Allies are supervised and receive ongoing professional development.
Absolutely. Your privacy is our priority. All conversations are 100% confidential. We do not share your personal information or the content of your conversations with anyone.
Life Ally is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, please call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (available 24/7).
No. Life Ally is designed to complement therapy, not replace it. We provide emotional support, encouragement, and human connection between therapy sessions or during life's difficult moments.
Click the "Sponsor a Session" button on the homepage, or contact us here. Your donation is tax-deductible and directly funds support sessions for individuals who cannot afford them.
Yes! Life Ally is wholly owned and operated by Suicide Sucks, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
