Life Ally is a program of Suicide Sucks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to offering non-clinical, peer-to-peer connection and reducing isolation for individuals facing life's challenges.

Life Ally provides non-clinical, peer-to-peer connection through listening, companionship, encouragement, and ordinary human conversation. Allies are volunteers participating as fellow human beings, not as therapists, counselors, healthcare providers, clinicians, or crisis professionals. Life Ally does not provide diagnosis, therapy, psychotherapy, counseling, treatment, treatment plans, clinical care plans, medical or psychiatric advice, medication advice, crisis intervention, or emergency services.
